Public bus service to operate as per regular schedule
The transport authorities in Abu Dhabi have announced their business hours of all its services during Eid al-Fitr holidays. During the long festival break, motorist might get up to 08 days of free parking.
The public parking spaces and the Darb toll-gate system will be free of charge starting 29th April, Friday until 07th May, Saturday, 7.59 am.
“MAWAQiF surface parking fees will be free of charge from Friday, 29th April until 7:59am on 07th May, Saturday. In addition, parking fees at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will also be free during the official Eid holiday,” said the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi.
Motorist have been urged to avoid parking in prohibited areas and blocking traffic moment. “Vehicles should be parked properly in designated areas and avoid parking in residential areas from 9.00 pm until 08.00 am.
The Darb toll system will be free of charge during the holidays starting 29th April. The normal toll system will be reactivated on 07th May, ( 7 am to 9 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm from Saturday to Thursday).
During the Eid al-Fitr holidays, the regional bus services will be increased to meet the demands from 30th April until 04th May.
