Newborn baby girl, Noura, is the first newborn to bring joy at Danat Al Emarat Hospital
The arrival of two girls and one boy sparked extreme joy at Danat Al Emarat Hospital on Eid-Al-Fitr, 2022. Dr. Mohaymen Abdelghany, CEO of Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women and Children said: “We are so blessed to deliver these precious newborns into the world at this momentous time of the year during Eid Al-Fitr.
A total of 28,279 babies have been born at Danat Al Emarat Hospital since 28th October 2015. Of the total number of births,
- 14,731 boys were delivered
- 13,548 girls with 15,605 overall, born of Emirati parents.

The first family to celebrate their newborn was the Emirati AlHassan Al-Kindi family. The newborn girl named Noura, a name that her grandfather has chosen was in good health. Her birth weight was 2.79 KG, and she was born at 3:48 AM on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.
The second newborn delivered at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women and Children was at 5:23 AM on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr for the family of Mr. Khalfan Al Suwaidi.
The third newborn on Eid Al-Fitr at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Mr. Saif Obaid Alzaabi’s family, an Emirati, was born at 5:50 AM.
All the families bestowed their blessings upon the hard work and extreme care taken into account by the hospital on a pious occasion of Eid. Doubling the joy for everyone, Danat Al Emarat Hospital has shown outstanding performance in medical care & support on Eid.
The hospital also distributed flowers and chocolates to all patients and children who are spending Eid Al-Fitr at the hospital.
