Join The Excitement
Gear up for a weekend of giving and goodness as the prestigious Zayed Charity Run in Abu Dhabi makes its much-awaited return on 25th November.
Registrations are still open for the 3K, 5K, or 10K run, welcoming both runners and walkers to partake in an event promoting the spirit of ‘Kindness.’
Established in 2001, the Zayed Charity Run continues to echo messages of humanity and generosity, carrying forward the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
This global initiative, spreading the motto “Run for Kindness,” celebrates its 20th year, and we invite you to join us in sharing this impactful message.
Here’s a quick rundown of what you need to know before you hit the start line. Once registered, participants can collect their race packs at the Atrium in Reem Mall on 23rd and 24th November from 1 pm to 8 pm and on the race day, 25th November from 5 am to 6:30 am.
Pro tip: Aim to collect your pack beforehand for a stress-free morning.
Reem Mall offers ample parking, including an overflow car park clearly signposted for your convenience.
The races kick off at 7 am, each distance with its allocated time slot. The award ceremony is set for 8:45 am. The event ensures clear signposting for each race, hydration points along the course, and refreshing fruit at the finish line.
More than just a run, the Zayed Charity Run is a community event, welcoming individuals, families, clubs, and competitive runners to experience a social yet competitive atmosphere.
Participants have the chance to compete for a total prize pool of AED 1 million, distributed based on category, distance, and race.
Notably, the proceeds from this charitable event support the Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Centre, contributing to innovative and life-saving treatments for cancer patients.
