From December 9th to 18th, 2024, Al Ain Zoo invites visitors to its 6th Nature Conservation Festival, themed ‘Sustainable Legacy’. Running daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, this 10-day event offers exciting activities to inspire a deeper connection with nature and promote wildlife conservation.
The festival features immersive experiences across the Zoo’s grounds, including the main entrance, exhibits, the theatre, and the renowned Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre. Visitors can discover art installations created by talented artists, blending creativity and conservation, while enjoying diverse dining options at the Zoo’s restaurants and cafes.
The schedule includes live performances and cultural showcases, such as the Animal Parade, LED dance shows, Bilingual Hakawti storytelling, and crafting demonstrations of Tarboush and Burqas, celebrating Emirati heritage.
Hands-on sustainability workshops allow guests to engage in meaningful activities like Khous Charms Workshop, Sadu Bracelet Making, Planting in Khous Baskets, and Fabric Dyeing with Natural Materials, promoting eco-friendly practices.
