Regardless of our differences in background, language and status, we can all agree that love is something that we all share in common.
As expats we all know how it feels to leave our loved ones behind in the hope of giving them a better life.
In exchange, we constantly struggle with feelings of loneliness, emptiness and that lingering desire to be with them after a tiring day.
So with Valentine’s Day around the corner, we thought of reaching out to the hardworking people in the community to spread cheers in line with the season.
Thankfully, our good friends from Al Wahda Mall and Galito’s agreed to host our mini surprise and make the occasion more memorable.
As we found out, people tend to get very emotional when talking about their loved ones. Even us couldn’t help but be moved as they express their thoughts and feelings, as you will see in the video below.
