The inaugural UAE Tour – made possible with the merging of Dubai Tour and Abu Dhabi Tour – happening from 24^th February to 2^nd March will feature 18 UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) World Teams from different parts of the globe.

The gruelling race will take place across the UAE, presenting riders various terrain challenges to overcome – from wild sandy dunes to rugged mountain surfaces.

To give you an idea, the total 1,090-kilometre route will cover Al Hudayriat Island, Yas Mall to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain to Jebel Hafeet, Dubai to Hatta Dam, Sharjah to Khor Fakkan, Ajman to Jebel Jais and Dubai Safari Park to Dubai City Walk.

UAE Tour Stage 6: RAK PROPERTIES STAGE This mountain stage stretches for 180km, and will include Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the UAE, for the first time in Middle Eastern cycling history. The UAE Tour’s big names are set to go under the spotlight: Team Sky’s Chris Froome, Bahrain-Merida’s Vincenzo Nibali, and Team Sunweb’s Tom Dumoulin, together with Valverde and many other attacking riders will be there to ignite the race! #UAETOUR
