We’re on a mission to kill those germs on things we touch daily, including computers, phones, door handles and kitchen worktops to name just a few. But are you disinfecting those other areas where those nasty germs like to hide. SterilOx disinfectant spokesperson, Dmitry Anisimov, chief business development officer, reveals the 10 places you may not have thought to disinfect before.

Groceries

Research carried out by the New England Journal of Medicine has shown that COVID-19 can in fact live on surfaces including copper for up to four hours, cardboard for up to 24 hours and plastic and steel for up to 72 hours. So you know what to do; get the disinfectant spray out and give them a good going over before bring your shopping indoors.

Handbag or purse

These items are potentially be a magnet for attracting germs. Just think where you have put your handbag down when you’re out and then where you place it one you return home. This is why it is so important to keep it clean and sterile once you’re back from your outings.

Kitchen sponges
Soaking up bacteria is what your kitchen sponge does best. Change it often and use a disinfectant such as SterilOx to chase away that nasty bacteria lurking around your sink.

Bank Cards
