Let your kids be in awe of the many wild animals with a memorable keepsake this Eid.
Al Ain Zoo is reaching out to visitors during Eid al-Fitr and giving them a chance to take photographs with snakes, tigers, birds and giraffes.
The zoo is closed to visitors of course but the zoo’s app is making it possible to create a ‘holiday’ snap with four animals. The photos will also have on it greetings for Eid al-Fitr 2020, making it a keepsake to look back on.
The Eid campaign, called the ‘Spread the Joy of Eid to the World’, lasts for the three days of Eid and is part of the ‘Stay at Home’ campaign recently launched by the zoo.
Visitors across the UAE and from around the world can enjoy the zoo from home through Al Ain Zoo social media platforms.
Omar Yousef Al Blooshi, the zoo’s director of marketing and corporate communication, said: “Photography with animals is among our visitors’ favourite experiences, especially animals related to feeding experiences and the stories of their Animal Keepers.
“Now, visitors can express their love for zoo animals through multiple photographic options in cheerful frames, which they can publish on their Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook accounts, sharing them with their friends to spread joy to the world together, even in the most difficult of circumstances,” he added.
The Al Ain Zoo app can be downloaded through Apple and Google stores.
