Good news to residents in Abu Dhabi, Free parking during Eid al-Adha.
Last Thursday, The Ministry of Human Resources And Emiratisation announced for private sector the Eid al-Adha holidays from 30th July until 02nd August. Hotels, restaurants, tourist spots and other attraction around the capital are gearing up to welcome families.
There will be free parking during the Eid al-Adha break in Abu Dhabi. Parking fee will resume as usual on 4th August, Monday at 7:59 am. There will still be fines for wrong parking. So be sure to not park in areas that are restricted or block public access.
The public bus service timings in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain City and Al Dhafra Region will be adjusted accordingly. The following bus numbers: 5, 7, 8, 22, 67, 102, 401, 900, 940, 950, 960, 970, 980 and 990 will operate until 1:30 am. More detailed schedules of the bus services can be found at the Integrated Transport Centre’s website or download the Darb mobile app.
Authorities are still advising residents to practice caution outside and require everyone to wear masks and gloves while they are outside. Keep this in mind every time you go out!
