Etihad airways has suspended the flight services from India to UAE till month-end
No fair chances of flights to UAE from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh. Unless you are a diplomat or a UAE national or a Golden Visa holder’, then you have an exemption.
With the announcement of extension of flights remaining suspended, UAE National Carrier must have something better stored for passengers travelling to UAE. A search on the website for flights to the UAE from Mumbai, Karachi, Dhaka throws up a message, informing passengers about the extension of suspension till 31st July
If you fall under the list of exempted travellers, your PCR test in this case must be taken a maximum of 48 hours before your flight departure.
Earlier, the Abu Dhabi-headquartered carrier had informed passengers on social media that the flight suspension from the three countries to the UAE capital would be extended until 21st July.
The decision to suspend flights from the countries has been taken in order to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
It is noteworthy that the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has not announced an end date to the suspension of flights to UAE.
