Augmented Reality has stepped into Abu Dhabi and there’s no escaping technology nowadays, and that’s talking even about art.
One of the biggest modern tech innovations that blend seamlessly with traditional art is augmented reality or AR.
By definition, augmented reality is an interactive experience of a real-world environment being enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information.
This technology allows objects to be magnified more vividly, giving a viewer a unique perspective of an object and elements that immediately obvious.
Curious? You can get to try AR first-hand at a special exhibit running until 3rd January 2020 at the main atrium of Nation Towers Mall.
The Augmented Reality Art Exhibition uses AR tool Arti-vive to let artists create new dimensions of art by connecting classical with digital art.
If that’s not interesting enough the mall is also hosting an Invaderz Interactive Game until 22nd April 2020. The fun activity is located near the Jarir bookstore.
As the name suggests, the attraction enthrals guests with live projection set up. Travel to outer space while armed with ammo to battle asteroids and aliens to save planet Earth.
Also within sight is the UAE National Day. To mark the special occasion, the mall will hold a Light Laser Painting spectacle pop up from 1st to 3rd December.
Guests can embrace the celebration by snapping stunning personalized photos with the country’s colors complete with pretty effects. The images will be emailed or printed on site for souvenir.
From 15th November to 15th January 2020 you will see Nation Towers giving away amazing prizes.
The Grand Prize raffle draw will give the public a chance to win two Nissan Patrol cars valued at around AED 250,000 each.
Customers who spend a minimum of AED 100 when shopping, dining or on entertainment are eligible to enter for the chance to become a lucky winner.
