Abu Dhabi will soon be home to the Italian Cultural Institute.
The organisation will be under the wing of the Embassy of Italy and will oversee the holding of Italian arts, language and cultural programmes to further strengthen the country’s relationship with the UAE.
But while waiting for the centre’s opening, we can keep ourselves busy by watching a few Italian films screening in the coming days.
The inaugural Italian Film Week in the Emirates or IFWE 2019 is a ten-day programme running from 3rd to 13th April across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and will showcase movies never distributed in the UAE before.
The capital will be hosting two screenings at Manarat Al Saadiyat – here’s a sneak peek…
