The country’s national brand logo has been finally unveiled.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy of the Armed Forces of the UAE, revealed the brand logo via social media.
“Today, my brother Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and 49 Emirati creators launched the new visual media identity for the UAE,” Sheikh Mohamed said on Twitter.
The winning logo named ‘7 Lines’ bested two other finalists, and represents the seven emirates and the seven founders of the country.
Around 10 million people both here and outside the country cast their votes to determine the best logo for the United Arab Emirates.
“Seven lines rise up tall with momentum, optimism and dynamism as a tribute to the seven bold leaders who shaped the Emirates and united their people’s aspirations under one flag,” the website www.nationbrand.ae mentioned.
It further added: “Seven lines, shaping the map of the Emirates with the flag colors, represent the future-focused leaders of the seven emirates united towards the country’s growth.”
