The Abu Dhabi Police ( ADP ) has introduced a new law and has asked the public to abide with the rules and regulations and maintain Abu Dhabi’s pristine image and clean environment.
Smart traffic systems will be monitoring the behavioural pattern on the roads in the city and littering from vehicles on the road while driving is an offence with a fine of AED 1,000 and six traffic point against violators.
Abu Dhabi Police ( ADP ) stated, littering on roads “ is a negative form of behaviour that disrupts traffic and could lead to accidents”.
Drivers and road users need to avoid uncivilised behaviour which could damage the capitals image negatively and also have a negative impact to the environment.
