Green pass not a mandatory requirement for malls, restaurants in Abu Dhabi
Malls in Abu Dhabi have welcomed the decision of removing the green pass on Al Hosn app to enter the malls. The mall operators in Abu Dhabi welcomed this decision and have removed the Al Hosn green pass stickers.
The emirate of Abu Dhabi has been following a precautionary measure in the capital to reduce and curb the spread of Covid-19. Residents and visitors coming to Abu Dhabi can now enter public places like restaurants, malls, entertainment venues and establishments without the green pass. Having a green pass on their Al Hosn app was a mandate implemented way back in June 2021.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention has approved the protocol of green pass on Al Hosn app to ease restrictions and enhance safe movement and tourism in the country.
Residents no longer need to do a monthly PCR test to maintain the green color status on their app.
From not having a green pass status to optional of wearing face masks at open and closed facilities are amongst the several Covid-19 measures being eased throughout the country.
Residents are definitely delighted as they no longer require the PCR test to enter malls in Abu Dhabi or restaurants or public places.
Many individuals have seen this as an optimistic sign of their lives finally returning to normalcy.
