Etihad Airways has inaugurated a new direct flight route between Abu Dhabi and Jaipur, India.
The commencement of this service was marked by a warm welcome ceremony at Jaipur International Airport, celebrating the enhanced connectivity between the cultural gem of Rajasthan and the rest of the world via Abu Dhabi.
Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, expressed his enthusiasm for the new route.
“We are delighted to launch four weekly flights to Jaipur, a significant cultural and commercial hub. By establishing this crucial air link with Rajasthan, we aim to cater to the growing demand from travelers in and around the region, providing them with convenient access to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and seamless connectivity to our extensive global network, while delivering an exceptional flying experience,” he said.
The introduction of the Jaipur service highlights Etihad Airways’ deepening commitment to the Indian market, where the airline has increased its capacity by a third over the past 12 months.
This strategic expansion not only caters to the burgeoning travel demands but also strengthens the cultural and economic ties between the UAE and India.
The flights to Jaipur will be operated using aircraft from the fuel-efficient Airbus A320 family, ensuring a comfortable and environmentally conscious journey for passengers.
