You need to be quick to catch the works of these two kings of comedy, with their classic movies Way Out West and The Music Box showing today (7 March) at 4pm and 7pm respectively. You’ll need to register so be quick to enjoy some family friendly fun!
Both movies are restored classics
Way Out West (showing 4pm)is considered the comic duo’s best-loved comedies. Stan and Ollie travel to Brushwood Gulch to deliver a deed to a gold mine to its rightful inheritor. When a shady saloon owner and his dance-hall girlfriend scheme to take it for themselves, it’s up to the boys to put things right, in bungling slapstick fashion, with some endearing musical numbers along the way.
The fun continues in the academy award-winning The Music Box (showing 7pm), which sees Stan and Ollie striving valiantly to deliver a piano to a home at the top of an impossibly long staircase. We can only imagine the rest, but deep belly laughs are guaranteed.
