Ice Skating In The Desert? It’s Really Happening At This Family Fun Event

When it comes to outdoor skating, Abu Dhabi is not the kind of city one would instantly think about for such kind of activity.

But then again, if there’s one place in the world that can make the impossible happen, that’s no other than this little city of ours.

For four days, Zayed Sports City will pull off the trick with its outdoor ice rink sure to make kids and adults freeze in amazement.

The spectacle is part of ZSC’s Family Festival taking place from 26^th to 29^th December.

But the ice skating attraction is just the tip of the iceberg.

Just some of the fun and adrenaline-filled activities waiting for both kids and adults are the huge inflatable airbag designed for budding stuntmen of all ages, a towering climb wall, trampolines and zip line.

Football and tennis activities will also be available, and there’s even a chance that a champion tennis pro will drop by to say hi to excited participants.

Meanwhile, local culture will be highlighted at the heritage village where there will be workshops as well as science-related activities, storytelling, dance and even circus entertainment.
