A pair of Indian celebrity chefs will add star power to a big festival celebrating Indian lifestyle and culture.
Master chefs Sandeep Sreedharan and Sanjan Thakur are confirmed to grace Yas Mega Mela happening from 31st October until 2nd November at du Arena on Yas Island.
The three-day festival will showcase great Indian music, food, entertainment, chefs master classes, a street market shopping experience, health and beauty master classes, cricket coaching and games and a dedicated kids’ zone.
Chef Sandeep – who quit his corporate job to become a chef full time – is a renowned chef in Mumbai. He is well known for popularizing a genre called ‘modern coastal food’, which blends traditional Indian food with western influences.
Chef Sanjan, meanwhile, is a Guinness World record holder for creating and serving dinner to guests at the highest pop-up restaurant in the world, located at Everest Advanced High Camp.
Together, both chefs will be sharing their culinary expertise through live cooking demonstrations.
They will join legendary Indian celebrity chef Vicky Ratnani at the Yas Mega Mela Chef’s Kitchen.
Foodies can also checkout the Taste of India Experience featuring mouth-watering dishes representing India’s diverse culture including flavors from its sub-continent.
From fine dining restaurants to vast array of food stalls – visitors will surely have their fill sampling a wide variety of Indian delicacies.
Just some of the confirmed outlets hungry guests can visit include Zaika, Kura Kura, Paprika, Indian by Nature, Bikanerwala, Sandwich Square and Kulfilicious.
Tickets to Yas Mega Mela start from AED 20, free for kids under 16 years old.
