Korean Cultural Center in the United Arab Emirates is all set to tune people to its 4th K-Pop Academy in late June.
Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS), an affiliate of the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is the main organizer of the program with 25 such centers worldwide.
This year K-Pop Academy features professional trainers, including those from Korean entertainment agencies, teaching the latest K-Pop dance.
Roh is one of the trainers coming to Abu Dhabi has a brilliant stage performance and worked with major K-Pop artists such as BLACK PINK, WINNER, AOA, iKON.
Currently a dance trainer, Roh is exclusive to Starship Entertainment, one of the biggest entertainment agencies in Korea.
K-Pop Academy has enjoyed continuous popularity in the UAE since its first program in 2016.
Its motive behind K-pop is to give K-Pop fans the chance to experience K-Pop and the nurturing system of Korean idol groups firsthand.
Till date about 200 trainees in the UAE have joined the Academy and the numbers ar growing. The K-pop trend is increasing year on year in the UAE with credits to the world famous boy group BTS.
Another performance by K-Pop boy group IMFACT held in Dubai which was part of the annual cultural program Travelling Korean Culture organized by Korean Cultural Center had increasing number of K-Pop fans in the UAE.
The application for K-Pop Academy is open until 23rd June with K-pop dance classes to commence on 29th June until 8th August for a 6 week period.
