Colourful kites will once again dominate the clear blue skies above Bani Yas Island for the returning Kite Fest on 7th March.
Hosting the family-friendly event is the Anantara Resort on the picturesque island.
Now in its fifth year, Kite Fest will hold a contest open to everyone in a bid to find the Most Creative, the Largest, and the Best Animal Shape kites. The winners for each of the categories will take home prices including dining experiences, vouchers and stays at Anantara properties in Abu Dhabi.
Festival attendees can choose from two packages: Day Visit and Camping.
Both comes with water transfers to and from Jebel Dhanna Jetty and island transportation to and from the event, a kite kit and entrance to the festival, a barbecue lunch on the beach with soft beverages, beach activities and a Nature & Wildlife Drive.
Furthermore, the camping package also includes overnight camping the night before the event, a barbecue dinner and breakfast at the Palm restaurants. tent, sleeping bags and mattresses can be rented out too.
