The mentioned landmarks displayed colors of the Chinese national flag as a sign of support following the outbreak of a new coronavirus.
The coronavirus is believed to have originated in Wuhan, China, and has been declared as a global health emergency by the World Health Organization.
Countries outside China, including the UAE, have reported cases of the disease leading to strict monitoring of people entering and exiting airports, and high alert in hospitals across the globe.
This initiative by the UAE aims to show support and solidarity to China’s government and its people in combating the virus.
The UAE government expressed confidence that China is capable to contain, control and eventually eradicate the coronavirus.
