Friday’s are looking cool again as this famed-Italian eatery relaunches its equally famous brunch.
It’s music to our ears (and stomachs) as brunches appear to be back on the Abu Dhabi restaurant scene again.
So far it’s that rather delicious Marco Pierre White’s restaurant, Marco’s New York Italian at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr. We’re sure that more brunches will follow soon at other establishments across the capital.
Friday brunch at Marco’s kicks off this coming Friday, 12th June, from noon till 4pm, with packages starting from AED 199.
You will, of course, be tucking into a mix of Italian classics with a nod to some United States’ inspiration, which is what makes Marco’s offering stand out.
The brunch menu is set and if you do choose to book you could be sampling starters such as crispy calamari, buffalo wings, heirloom tomato & burrata salad and that good old salute to the United States, New York pizza.
The mains are equally as tantilising. There’s risotto funghie tartoufo, mac & cheese al fungi, grass-fed sirloin and oven black cod.
Those with a sweet tooth are going to find themselves in a sugary wonderland. The classics are all vying for attention, such as Mr. White’s tiramisu and warm chocolate brownie.
But wait for it… also on the menu is that all American classic, a 1930’s New York Knickerbocker. This kids are going to love that for sure, and the great thing about this brunch is that kids under-12 can join you, making it a truly family affair.
Marco’s New York Italian, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, noon to 4 pm every Friday, AED 199 for soft package, AED 299 for house package, free for kids under-six, 50% discount for kids aged six to 12.
