Still bummed out with the thought of not seeing Grammy Award-winner Mariah Carey live?
The good news is that capital residents can watch Mariah Carey live in concert for free along with Emirati superstar Hussain Al Jassmi in Dubai at the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
The show One Year to Go Concert at Burj Park in Downtown Dubai will mark one year before the highly anticipated Expo 2020 officially begins.
Louvre Abu Dhabi will broadcast the concert in real time and for free at 8.20pm.
A maximum of 2,500 people can watch the live stream, on first-come-first-served basis starting from 5pm.
The museum has invited UAE-based artists including Sandra Sahi, Stephon Lamar, Layla Kardan, Victor Sitali, Emirati Trio and The Domino to entertain the excited crowd before the big show.
Guests with cars are requested to use the shuttles provided from Cranleigh Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island.
Commuters can take the 0094 bus or taxis to go to the designated drop off zone in the area.
Aside from Louvre Abu Dhabi, the concert will also be screened live at Ajman Museum, Al Majaz Waterfront in Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain Corniche, Fujairah Fort and Al Qawasim Corniche in Ras Al Khaimah.
