Families recently poured into the Louvre for a fun-packed weekend and to discover a new exhibition centred on knights of the realm.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi’s action-packed weekend saw more than 600 guests, many of whom were families with children, head to the museum’s fun Family Weekend in February.
The weekend included a horse show by horse whisperer, emirati Ali Al Ameri, along with pop-up storytelling, mini tours, workshops and film screenings.
Families also enjoyed free activities in the park including falconry display, pony rides, a youth festival parade, and Singing Trees – a choir of palm trees that sing louder when visitors hug them.
Children had the opportunity to discover their inner warrior in celebration of Louvre Abu Dhabi’s new exhibition Furusiyya: the Art of Chivalry between East and West.
Free, with a museum admission ticket (children under 13 are free), held the last weekend of each month.
