Louvre Abu Dhabi Presents “Post-Impressionism: Beyond Appearances” Exhibition.

Louvre Abu Dhabi is excited to announce the launch of its newest exhibition, Post-Impressionism: Beyond Appearances, which has officially opened to the public on 16th October, 2024, and will run until February 9, 2025. The exhibition was inaugurated by H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Louvre Abu Dhabi, and is organized in collaboration with Musée d’Orsay and France Muséums.

The exhibition showcases iconic masterpieces by celebrated Post-Impressionist artists including Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, Georges Seurat, Henri-Edmond Cross, Paul Gauguin, and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. These visionary works from the late 19th and early 20th centuries played a defining role in the Post-Impressionist movement.

  • Secret Dinners on 06th and 07th December, where a culinary experience inspired by a secret ingredient from one of the artworks will be paired with music and art.
  • A screening of Loving Vincent, a film about the final days of Vincent Van Gogh, offering a closer look at his life and legacy.
  • Interactive activities for families, youth, and students, including a Young Visitors’ Guide filled with fun facts, questions, and clues to explore the exhibition.
  • Adult visitors can enjoy special sessions such as Drawing at the Museum, Book an Easel, and guided tours focused on Post-Impressionist art.
