Here Are The Rest Of The Public Holidays In Abu Dhabi This Year

Holidays

Read on to find out when you’ll next be able to spend quality time with the family and forget your worries for a while.

We’ve just celebrated Eid  and had a few days off but let’s face it, a few more off days would be great too. So, we’ve gathered the official public holidays list for the rest of 2020, according to the UAE Government.

But don’t forget, some of the religious holidays are dependent on moon sightings, so for confirmation you’ll need to wait nearer the time, but we can still hazard a guess.

So the next public holiday is Eid al-Adha and that will fall around 30 July, which is in two months’ time.

After that, you’ll have to wait nearly another month for the Islamic New Year, which falls on Sunday, 23rd August, giving us a long weekend to enjoy.

Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Birthday falls on Thursday, 29th October, so you know what that means? Yep, another long weekend.

Then it’s a long wait till 1st December for Commemoration Day, which happens to be a Tuesday.

But it falls in line with The UAE’s 49th National Day on 2nd and 3rd December which will give us a long holiday indeed.

So now you know, you can start making plans.
