Reem Mall Opens as Abu Dhabi’s Newest Lifestyle Destination

Reem Mall, Abu Dhabi’s highly anticipated new shopping, dining and entertainment hub, officially opened its doors today in a ceremony attended by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.

The $1.3 billion mega-project developed by Al Farwaniya Property Developments on Reem Island spans an expansive 186,000 square meters of gross leasable area.

It features over 400 retail stores, 80 food and beverage outlets, and exclusive attractions like the region’s largest snow park – Snow Abu Dhabi.

“Reem Mall is an iconic project that epitomizes innovation, offering a premium mall experience and fostering community spirit. During the opening tour, Sheikh Nahyan visited the 9,732 square meter Snow Abu Dhabi snow park, which has been open since June 2023 and offers 20 rides and attractions like sledding, carousels, zorbing and zip-lining in a snowy indoor setting.

The mall is pioneering integrated digital shopping experiences with an app for hands-free shopping, indoor navigation, smart parking and more. It houses the world’s first Bloomingdale’s Beauty store, exclusive VOX Cinemas with private viewing rooms, and leading brands like Zara, Eataly, Nike, Sephora and Carrefour.

The opening kicks off Reem Mall’s Summer Festival running through Eid Al Adha. The mall is positioned as a major addition to Abu Dhabi’s tourism offering, aligning with the UAE’s National Tourism Strategy 2031 goals.
