Significant progress on the construction of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, the next generation of marine life theme parks. Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading curator of magnetic experiences in partnership with SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment has completed 67% of the mega project.
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will feature the world’s largest and the most expensive marine aquarium on Yas Island. On track for completion in 2022, recent major construction milestones include the completion of the primary steel erection and near finalisation of the envelope enclosure of the marine-life park.
The aquatic theme park will be home to the world’s largest and most expensive marine life aquarium. It will house more than 68,000 marine animals including sharks, schools of fish, manta rays and sea turtles. The total water capacity is expected to be 25 million litres of water. There will be an impressive 20m tall vertical window across multiple levels revealing stunning aquatic scenes.
Visitors at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will have a chance to interact with one of the most diverse populations of animals.
The massive aquarium spans the floor area of 183,000 sq.mt. ( m2) across five indoor levels. The design leverages SeaWorld’s 55 years of experience in the marine research, conservation and animal welfare.
