A survey launched to identify the causes and patterns of domestic violence

The questionnaire will explore different types of domestic violence that are identified in the family protection policy the UAE government launched in November 2019.
The results of the survey will be used to assess the services offered by relevant government institutions. This will enable victims to integrate into their families and society.
The department emphasized the importance for individuals aged 18 years and above to participate in the survey.
It will help determine the extent of the problem, understand its root causes and develop solutions and appropriate interventions.
Results of such surveys and research help the DCD, its strategic partners and other relevant entities. They develop recommendations and initiatives on social development pursued by the government of Abu Dhabi.
