Travelling from abroad, there has been changes recently.
Effective 05th September, citizens, residents and visitors travelling to Abu Dhabi have new travel procedures updated. The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has approved removing the need to quarantine for all passengers travelling to Abu Dhabi. This applies only to only vaccinated travellers arriving into Abu Dhabi from all international destinations.
Vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers need to present a negative PCR test within 48 hours of their departure to Abu Dhabi.
A PCR test for vaccinated citizens, residents and visitors arriving from green list countries is a must without the need to quarantine. They have to take another test on day 6 if staying in Abu Dhabi.
When arriving from other destinations they must take a PCR test on arrival without the need to quarantine, and further tests on days 4 and 8, if staying in the emirate
