With cultural venues opening left and right, Abu Dhabi has positioned itself as a destination where one can learn more about local and even international history and tradition.
And while Louvre Abu Dhabi takes the cake as the biggest of them all, there are other interesting museums worth exploring around the emirate.
One that is particularly flying below the radar is the Al Ain Classic Cars Museum located in Ain Al Faida Complex on 138th Street, Al Ain.
Whether you’re a car enthusiast or not, you will surely marvel looking at the vast collection of vintage automobiles on display here.
Rows and rows of cars dating back to various eras were preserved, restored and exhibited for the public to appreciate.
There are also books with loads of information that details the evolution of transportation in the UAE.
Take note that the fleet of vehicle collection presented here changes so there’s something new to see most of the time.
Needless to say, the museum offers an interesting look into the country’s love for cars – a tradition that continues to this very day and will carry on to future generations.
