To raise awareness for breast cancer, Yas Mall has partnered with Abu Dhabi Sports Council to conduct an indoor marathon.
One associates a mall with retail therapy and several dining options. However, in light of it being the month of Breast Cancer Awareness, Abu Dhabi’s premier shopping destination Yas Mall will transform on 16th October to accommodate a sporting event. The team at Yas Mall have decided to organize the Pink Run so that shoppers can also burn some calories on their day out at the mall.
All participants are required to register to partake at a fee of AED 150. They can opt for the 2.5 km, 5 km or 10 km stretch and will be given a finisher’s medal once they complete the distance they have registered for. The runners can collect their running bibs from Zayed Sports City’s Tennis Centre ticket office before the run starts.
The start times will be done in intervals to ensure that there is no overcrowding at the mall. To ensure that the Covid-19 safety rules are adhered to, children under the age of 12 and adults under the age of 60 will not be allowed to take part.
