The Yas SeaWorld® Research & Rescue Center has opened its doors to the public. It is the region’s premier integrated research, rescue, rehabilitation, and return facility. In an exciting development, the center has also initiated a captivating series of science talks, offering an exceptional opportunity for the community to explore the captivating realm of marine sciences and natural history.

The Yas SeaWorld® Research & Rescue Center invites the public to partake in a series of enlightening science talks. Conducted in collaboration with prominent organizations such as Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD), Emirates Natural History Group (ENHG), Nautica Environmental Associates (NEA), and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi.

These talks aim to foster open discussions about the future of coral research and conservation, setting the stage for a monthly science talk series at the center.

The monthly science talks, features insights from both local and international experts. It covers a diverse range of topics, from shark ecology to cuttlefish breeding, geology, and climate change. These events are free to attend but require pre-booking. Interested individuals can secure their spot by completing a form on the center’s website and presenting a confirmation email upon arrival.

The Yas SeaWorld® Research & Rescue Center brings over six decades of experience in marine wildlife rescue, scientific research, education, and preservation to the UAE and the broader region.

In collaboration with SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the center conducts educational workshops and lectures to raise awareness about marine sciences and wildlife conservation.

The facility will offer guided tours three times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. These tours, led by the education team, will provide in-depth insights into the center’s facilities and capabilities. Participation in the tours requires pre-booking, with a fee of AED 30 per person.
