Aldar in partnership with UAE Team Emirates has rolled out the programme
The Youth Cycling Academy Programme as been rolled out for young cyclists as an initiative for the stars of tomorrow. This is to develop an inclination towards cycling and practice healthier lifestyles.
Aldar, in partnership with UAE Team Emirates, has begun the Youth Cycling Academy Program across schools in Abu Dhabi. The project directly aims to enhance their road skills, becoming more of an aware driver with practicing safety for all on the roads.
Over the past two weeks, the program has reached 500 eager young cyclists. This incredible exposure to outdoor for the younger generation will enhance their hidden talents in cycling. This helps increase the function of social engagement with of similar ages allowing their aptitude to rise even more higher.
The kids were keen to demonstrate their support for UAE Team Emirates in the upcoming Giro d’Italia race.
150 children were seen donning pink t-shirts in a show of support for the riders to the highly anticipated Grand Tour event. The 3,445km, 21-stage race is one of the most prestigious on the racing calendar. It is coupled with the
Tour De France and Vuelta a España.
UAE Team Emirates are determined to increase the opportunities to young children across the UAE on the saddle alongside high-quality training with the Youth Cycling Academy Programme.
This partnership with Aldar will provide the UAE’s future stars with an incredible opportunity that hasn’t
been afforded to anybody that has come before them.
